He currently serves as Consultant in Orthopedics at KIMS Sreechand Hospital, Kannur, where he is actively involved in advanced orthopedic care, including trauma surgery, joint replacements, and arthroscopic procedures. Dr. Shafeekh’s clinical expertise spans complex trauma management, primary and revision joint replacement surgeries of the hip, knee, and shoulder, as well as arthroscopic interventions for sports-related injuries.
He earned his MBBS from the Academy of Medical Sciences, Kannur, and completed his MS in Orthopaedics from Manipal Institute of Higher Education. Further refining his skills, Dr. Shafeekh completed a fellowship in Arthroplasty at the renowned Sunshine Bone and Joint Institute in Hyderabad, one of South Asia’s largest centers for joint replacement.
