Specialist - Critical Care
Dr. Midhila Mohan is a skilled Anaesthesiologist and Critical Care Specialist with comprehensive experience in managing a wide range of anaesthetic techniques, including spinal, epidural, general anaesthesia, regional nerve blocks, and monitored anaesthesia care (MAC). She completed her MD in Anaesthesia from K.V.G. Medical College and her MBBS from Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences, Cochin.
Dr. Midhila has hands-on experience in critical care, having worked in Mangala Hospital, Mangalore, where she managed the Operation Theatre, MICU, and CCU. She has performed emergency and elective airway management, paediatric and nasal intubations, USG-guided brachial plexus blocks, central venous cannulations, and arterial line placements. She has also completed observerships at premier institutions such as NIMHANS for neuroanaesthesia and neuro ICU, Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, and Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology.
She is a member of the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists since 2023 and has published work on submental orotracheal intubation in craniomaxillofacial fractures. Dr. Midhila is currently serving as a Specialist in Critical Care at KIMS Valiyath Hospital, Karunagappally.
She is proficient in Malayalam, English, Hindi, and Kannada.
