Dr. Jaison George

Overview:

Dr. Jaison George is a highly qualified and experienced Nephrologist with over three years of post-DrNB expertise in clinical and interventional nephrology. He completed his Dr.NB nephrology from Narayana Hrudayalaya Bangalore and his MD in general medicine from Government Medical College Berhampur,  Odisha. He is currently serving as a Consultant Nephrologist at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Karunagappally. He previously worked as a Consultant Nephrologist at MOSC Medical College, Kolenchery.

Dr. Jaison has extensive experience in the management of a wide range of kidney-related conditions including glomerular diseases and renal transplantation. He has been actively involved in over 200 renal transplants, including both ABO-compatible and incompatible procedures.

He holds several prestigious qualifications including the Doctorate of National Board (DrNB) in Nephrology, the European Specialty Examination in Nephrology (MRCP-ESE), and MRCP (UK) from the Royal College of Physicians. 

His key interventional skills include chronic tunneled catheter insertions under fluoroscopic guidance, chronic peritoneal dialysis catheter insertions under fluoroscopy, renal biopsy under real time ultrasound guidance of both native and transplant kidneys,peripheral AV fistuloplasty, pigtail chest catheter insertions.

He is also experienced in managing outpatient clinics, hospital wards, ICUs, and satellite nephrology centers.
